Optimal Brain Organization Profiles  200    (Formerly - Brain Organization Profiles)

               Prerequisite: Brain Gymฎ 101 - with other two modules

                                                                          

Discover the concepts of hemispheric specialization, identification, and balancing to facilitate whole-brain learning. Open to students who have taken Brain Gymฎ.

Each person has a specific combination of five "dominant" or "lead" factors: brain hemisphere, eye, ear, hand, and foot. This combination creates certain advantages and challenges in cognitive functioning as we deal with the effects of stress on the brain. This course is a practical and experiential overview of the neurology behind these interrelationships, various methods for assessing your own Brain Organization Profile (or those of your family, clients, friends or students). The implications of this profile for yourself as a learner, teaches you how to use and adapt simple Brain Gymฎ movements and processes to return to whole-brain learning at any time.

This specialised profiling helps us to maximise students learning by their placement in the class being of best advantage to the teacher and the student.  Example: an auditory dominant learner may be comfortable at the back of the class while a left eye, right brain dominant student is best placed at the front left side of the class to avoid distraction and stress.  Students placed in the classroom in this manner spend less of their energy in internally trying to cope with their stress or distraction and focuses more of their energy in attending to the learning task being presented.  This enhances their memory, retention and understanding at the end of the lesson This profiling is equally applicable to adults. 

The end result is a happier child/adult who is more able to achieve at their natural pace.

A road map to the completion of developmental skills through movement, play, and art.  Emphasis on vision enhancement.  Open to students who have taken Brain Gymฎ.

The Visioncircles course provides a road map to the completion of developmental skills through movement, play and art.  It offers vision enhancement through activities that nourish perceptual flexibility.  Each of the eight structured sessions embodies a unique perceptual slant and emphasizes different visual kinaesthetic, auditory and sensory skills.  As an added bonus, I include the gentle exploration of a number of Fundamental, Primitive Childhood Reflexes that hold back many Learners to a significant degree.  This is also a powerful personal development workshop!

Participants learn 32 Vision Gym movements for integrating visual, auditory and tactile abilities skilfully and naturally.

Each of the 8 sessions includes:

♠ Visualization to break through homeostasis

♠ New uses of Brain Gym™ for visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic awareness

ADVANCED TOUCH FOR HEALTH  KINESIOLOGY COURSES

Pre-requisite for becoming a certified professional Kinesiology Instructor.

            This is most easily completed in conjunction with the above – ‘complete as you practise’.

          TFH 5 Chinese Elements Metaphors – counselling skills   

                            TBA 2007 9am – 5pm      $350                                         

            Pre requisite: TFH 4  includes $50 to IKC and $10 student fee to AKA

Chinese 5 Element Metaphor Workshops:

Using Dialogue and Creative Visualization, access mental/emotional and sensory/associative aspects of memory, posture and energy to make your TFH/Kinesiology balancing more profound, effective and meaningful. Efficiently utilize the 111 Metaphors contained in the new TFH Pocketbook with Chinese 5 Element Metaphors to feel better and to gain insight and enthusiasm for your life.

            TFH Instructor Training                 

            Pre-requisites: TFH 1-4, TFH Prof Assessment, TFH Workbook completed.

Instructor Training Workshop (ITW): 

This 60-hour course prepares you as a Touch for Health Instructor.  Upon completion of the course, you are certified by the International Kinesiology College (IKC) and the Touch for Health Kinesiology Association. This course provides comprehensive training in TFH techniques, teaching skills, and running a successful TFH business.

Successful completion of TFH Instructor Training qualifies you  to teach TFH Synthesis 1 – 4 anywhere in the world!  This may also be accredited towards a Certificate 1V& Diploma in Kinesiology.
